• 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 large slice French bread , crusts removed
  • 2 slices emmenthaler cheese (or Gruyere)
  • 1 Preheat broiler.
  • 2 Heat oil in a skillet.
  • 3 Saute both sides of bread.
  • 4 Place on a baking sheet and top with cheese.
  • 5 Place under broiler until cheese melts.
