• 4 tablespoons butter or 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
  • 1/4 cup sliced celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can turkey gravy
  • 1/2 lb sliced cooked turkey
  • 4 slices bread (toasted) or 4 slices split biscuits
  • 1 In a skillet melt the butter, add the vegetables with the poultry seasoning.
  • 2 Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally 10 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  • 3 Stir in the gravy, heat to boiling.
  • 4 Add the turkey. Heat through.
  • 5 Arrange turkey and gravy on the toast.
