• 2 (6 ounce) cans tuna , drained
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon salsa
  • 2 -3 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 1/8 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices process American cheese
  • 6 slices thin tomatoes
  • 6 slices bread
  • 2 -4 tablespoons butter or 2 -4 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients; mix well.
  • 2 Place one cheese slice, two tomato slices and 1/3 cup tuna mixture on three slices of bread.
  • 3 Top with remaining cheese slices and bread.
  • 4 In a large skillet or griddle, melt 2 tablespoons butter.
  • 5 Toast sandwiches until lighlty browned on both sides, adding butter if necessary.
